In a move set to redefine how people choose and book their holidays, PURE ONE has announced the launch of a new technology designed to select travel experiences based entirely on a person’s emotional state.

The system, named PURE AI TravelSense™, uses behavioural analysis, facial recognition, and voice tone detection to determine what kind of escape a person truly needs, often before they have even considered it themselves. According to early demonstrations, the platform is capable of assessing mood within seconds and matching it to a suitable destination and style of travel.

A spokesperson for PURE ONE explained that the concept has been developed around a simple idea: people do not just choose where to go, they respond to how they feel. By removing the need to scroll endlessly through options, the system aims to simplify decision-making and create more meaningful travel experiences.

Wesley Baker, CEO and Founder of PURE ONE, commented on the launch, saying that travellers often spend weeks researching trips without clarity, and that this approach removes that friction entirely. He added that by focusing on emotional triggers rather than search filters, the company believes it can match people to destinations in a far more intuitive way.

During early testing, the majority of users were matched with coastal destinations, reflecting a strong desire for relaxation and space. Others were directed towards more active or experience-led trips, while a smaller percentage were recommended complete switch-off escapes designed for rest and recovery. Interestingly, the highest concentration of long-haul suggestions occurred at the start of the working week.

The company has released a limited version of the system for public use, inviting users to experience how their mood might influence their next journey. Visitors to the platform are encouraged to explore where they might be guided, with results linking through to a curated selection of travel experiences.

Steph and Steve Jones of Cardiff, who were early testers and were not convinced, “we got mixed results, Steve was basically, for some strange reason, guided towards Amsterdam and Bangkok, but I had the beach destinations of the Maldives and Seychelles”, Steph went on to say “we normally just do Benidorm!, but if they do an English fry up and have chips as well in the Maldives I may consider it!”

While the technology has generated significant interest, PURE ONE has remained deliberately light-hearted about the launch.

The system may not actually be analysing your face. It may not be reading your emotions. And it is certainly not booking your holiday without your say.

But if you have read this far and found yourself wondering where it might send you next…

April Fool 😄 (hope you laughed…)
