Feral; a once domesticated creature returns back to its wild state.

Go Feral, get back to nature and wake up with the warm French sun and gentle sound of the waves breaking on the shore. As you step out from your cozy Tipi into the fresh Atlantic air, mixing with the alluring aroma of the surrounding pine forests, you suit up, grab your board and make your short journey over the sand dunes on to the seemingly endless beaches of le Côte d'Argent. The sea beckons you in with its rolling waves, and as you paddle out into the ocean it washes over you cleansing the soul and demanding that you forget about everything but the moment.

After the morning surf breakfast is served with a mix of fresh fruit, cereals, bread, croissants and jam. As the soft jangle of an acoustic guitar plays in the background you ponder on the mornings surf and it’s time to get back out there. If the wind picks up maybe the thrill of some kite surfing takes your fancy or just relaxing on the beach, soaking up the sun, flicking through one of our books or magazines.

In the afternoon you can mosey on back to the Tipi’s for a swing in the hammocks, a fresh filled classic French baguette and muse over what you might like to do in the afternoon, perhaps take a wine tour of the châteaux’s of Bordeaux’s premier wine region, or take a bike ride through the pine forests and onto the great Lac d’Hourtin for some fresh water swimming, or maybe just some more surfing.

Towards the end of the day if your lethargy hasn’t yet caught up with you it’s time for some great al fresco dining, with our professional surf-chef supplying the food and drink,  followed by a stroll up to the dunes to watch the sun set across the Atlantic for the finest after dinner accompaniment. Then back to the Tipi’s for some more wine or perhaps a secret party where the wild things are.
