Whilts staying at the camp the cook will try to make a different international dish each day. So maybe one day your meal will be of European origin, and a another day a African plate. Locally you can find almost everything you want to eat. Lots of fish and seafood.

The best season to visit is from September to May
July – Nov is the dry season, but you can still get brief showers of rain. Not as humid but still warm.

The local beach looks like a post card. White sand, clear water and coconuts trees. It's perfect for all standards and families.

What happens if I hurt myself surfing whilst staying at the Hotel?
There is an emergency service on the island ( by a military doctor), and a lots of very good private clinics on the main land with European standards.

The nightlife is very hot in Dakar. A lot of bars and disco with all kind of music.

Will there be other surfers staying at this Hotel?
We get a variety of travellers around the world, but the camped is aimed at surfers so there is every chance there will be like minded guests staying whilst you are there .

Is there a local specialty of wine or food in the region that
we should know about and enjoy?
We do have some palm wine, and al the local food is very testy ( with manoc, gombo, ignam etc...)

No this camp has been designed to get-away from life’s electronic devices - but there is some cyber café for internet in the mainland ( 10mn away from the island )

What type of bed linen will be used and how often is this changed?
We have king size bed for the double rooms and single bed for the rest. We change the sheets every week, except if a client ask for different treatment.

Yes – bath towels and soap.

How many rooms does the accommodation have?
One dormitory, two triple rooms, five double rooms.

All beds have a mosquitoes net ( and every room from the camp have a nice sea view )

The camp is 15 minutes away from the Dakar international airport via road and sea.
