SURFING IN NICARAGUA:

Need we say more... here is a very small slection of what awaits and notice the empty waves in the photos!!!!

Boca de Bocana
An A-frame with looooooooong, fast left walls that get hollow and work at any size. Ripable rights, but you had better s*#t and git to make the drop. Breaks over a rock, sand bar. This is a low-tide spot only accessible by boat. A number of Brazilian professionals rate this as one of the best waves in the world, and we couldn't agree more. Strong intermediate to expert wave.

Pipes
A short, very hollow left breaking over shallow reef. Excellent shape. Works best from 3 to 6 feet and breaks only at or around high tide. Two fast sections, one on the takeoff and one inside if you can make it. Intermediate wave.

Chiggas
Right reef break. Deep-water takeoff to a walling tube giving way to a rippable section. Benefits from over 330 days of offshore Papagayo winds created by Nicaragua's lakes. Another incredible wave that can hold any size! Intermediate to advanced.

Cherrios
A-Frame mysto reef break that shows up on certain bigger swells. Very rippable when it shows up, but not always the most consistent wave. Benefits from over 330 days of offshore Papagayo winds created by Nicaragua's lakes. Intermediate to Advanced.

Out Front
Mellow, make-able beach break perfect for beginners. You can really improve your skills here, and work toward some of the other breaks that we offer. Beginner wave.

Playa Merhosa
Another good beach break with multiple A-frame peaks. Barrels on a bigger swell and can hold up to 10 feet. Works on virtually any size. Excellent wave for all experience levels.

Asuchillo Beach Break
Beautiful beach break with ample A-frame peaks. Almond shaped barrels. Works well at virtually any size. This break is a perfect one for a chill day, or for less-experienced surfers to get their feet under them. Benefits from offshore winds 330 days per year. Fun for all surfing abilities.

Bombas
Incredible beach break with spitting barrels and steep fast drops. A number of perfect A-frames when it is working well, and can hold up to 10 feet. Want barrels? This is the one!!! Intermediate on smaller swell, expert only when its big!

Surfing in Nicaragua is excellent all year long, so throw away guide books and listen to your travel company if you want to experience great surf with no crowds.
