7 Night Surf Experience

Our 7 Night New Zealand Surf Experience offers a great stay at our Surf Lodge and also a stay in Auckland at the famous Surf and Snow Back Packers Hostel. The climate is subtropical, the sunsets are stunning and it is home to one of the best left hand surf breaks in the world.

The Surf'n'Snow Backpackers is a fresh, modern, clean and stylish hostel backpackers accommodation which is most centrally located in Auckland. Located just across from Auckland's spectacular Sky Tower and only steps away from shops and restaurants on the main street, you'll find everything at your fingertips. This will be your base for a few days of your tour the rest of the time you will be Located at the southern end of 90 Mile Beach on the west coast of Northland New Zealand.

The Majority of your Surf Experience is in a our beachfront lodge consisting of 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 lounges, internet, games room and spa pool. In front of the lodge is a very good consistent beach break, which offers great learning and is a perfect longboarding wave. The Surf Experience also has a great views of Shipwreck Bay and the long left hand points that Ahipara is famous for. Walk out the front door go surfing, relax, swim, walk along the beach, play golf, go fishing, go sandboarding or take a quadbike tour. There is something for everybody.
 
Whether you are a serious surfer or a visitor looking to taste the surfer’s lifestyle, our Surf Experience offers a variety of waves to suit all abilities. We have found that the waves in this part of New Zealand are as good and consistent as anywhere in the world. You will have the choice of beach breaks, river bars, point breaks, and reef breaks. The northern coast is constantly pounded by swells from all angles and different wind directions. At any particular time there is always a good wave to be had on one of the 3 coasts (North, East or West). This allows us to find quality waves every day.

We will provide you with a surf experience that will last you a lifetime with breathtaking scenery and a true taste of New Zealand culture. You will get the thrill of chasing perfect waves and the endless summer and we are often joined by dolphins, whales and wild horses.
