What type of food & drink is offered at the Hotel?
We have a mixture of Indonesian and Western food, 3 hot meals a day. Normally breakfast consists of pancakes, home-made muesli with fresh fruit, omelettes with toast, or local delicacies such as black rice porridge. Lunch could be anything from the delicious Indonesia fried rice or noodles, through to a shitake mushroom penne creme pasta dish. The meals are served when convenient for the surfers, most meals are communal and special requests for vegetarians are respected. Fresh bread is made daily, and desserts are served most nights. We provide fresh drinking water, marquisa, mango, orang or tamarillo juice. Ice cold Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Soda Water, Soyabean milk and Ginger Ale are included in the price and available in the guest refrigerator. Hot tea and coffee are always available to the guests on the hot beverage table, or pay extra for a cappucino or mexican coffee with tequila and kahlua from the bar.

What is the local beach like?
The beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. It is excellent for snorkeling, with live reef just off the north and east coast of the bay where the resort resides. It takes 90 minutes to walk all the way around the island and covers all aspects of our island life: coconut plantation, original tropical rainforest and pristine mangroves.

What is the name of the Hotel Manager?
Tom Brubaker is from the central coast of the United States. Tom is surf guide and guest relations manager on the island.

What happens if I hurt myself surfing whilst staying at the Hotel?
There is a full medical kit including sutures, braces and our surf guides are trained in first aid and CPR. There is also a speedboat that will deliver an injured guest to the mainland within 6 hours, and there is also a new ability to evacuate them by plane within 2 hours.

What is the local area like?
There's a full bar included 4 different kinds of local and imported beer, a full range of liquor, and some locally created specialty cocktails on the rocks or blended.

Will there be other surfers staying at this Hotel?
We get mostly single, middle aged surfers with a limited time to get the best waves of their lives.

Is Wi-Fi Internet access available in the camp or locally and are any costs involved?
You can access the wired interent charged at Rp. 30,000 (£3.50) per text, or Rp. 50,000 (£1.50) for 500 kbytes of browsing data transferred. The resort has one computer and Wi-Fi is not available, but the resort computer is always available for use.

What type of bed linen will be used and how often is this changed?
There are custom fabricated 600 count white cotton bottom sheets on every bed. The beds are made everyday by the housekeeper, and changed once every 3 days.

In the bathroom are towels and washing gift facilities provided?
Towels are provided for showering that are also changed regularly. A laundry service is also provided for a reasonable extra charge of 35,000 (£2.00) per 6 peices of clothing, or the guests can wash their own clothes with the provided laundry detergant.

How many rooms does the accommodation have?
The resort can accommodate 12 guests. Sleeping is in lockable private rooms, 4 to a room, with attached western toilet and wash basin.
