Surf Camp - Property FAQ

Constructed on 5 hectares of land, deep inside the low tropical land of The Alas Purwa National Park, the G-Land Surf Camp holds the primer location at the edge of the jungle on the infamous point of Plengkung.

Thanks to extensive renovations during 2006 we are now able to present to you, the most modern, comfortable and best value for money surf camp in Indonesia.

Whilst staying at the surf camp you can enjoy facilities such as The Ocean View Restaurant; Offering ala carte dining to guest in this pristine rain forest. Or there’s the G-BAR; serving all your favourite soft drink as well as delicious tropical fruits juices and ice cold beer.

Finally The G-ROOM offers you the latest in technology with satellite TV, keeping you up to date with happenings from around the world. Nightly movies are also screened together with a selection of the latest surf flicks to wet your appetite in between tides. The G-ROOM is also has a billiard table & table tennis facilities.

When you fancy catching some swell the G-land surf zodiac surf transfer is on stand by daily, just ask the captain and he’ll have you at your choice of breaks before you know it, the Zodiac vessel is at guests disposal for fishing, photo and video shoot or just hanging out in the line-up to get a closer look of the days action.

It takes more less 7 hours long to get to our G-Land Surf Camp. Starting in late evening (before midnight), our minibus will pick you up from around the Kuta area. Then it’s a 3 hour drive to Gilimanuk and onto the ferry to Ketapang port - Banyuwangi. We continue the drive to Alas Purwo National Park arriving at sunrise. Finally it’s an hour drive through the beautiful panoramic Plengkung's jungle. Before reaching G-Land Surf Camp in the early morning ready for breakfast and your first ride in G-Land.
