Surf Guest House - Bathsheba
Welcome to the Surf Guest House, Restaurant & Bar. A cosy little place where you can really let your hair down and escape the hustle and bustle of the big city... a place enjoyed by locals and visitors alike... a place where you can find true solace and take the time to rediscover your soul and spirit.
Whatever calms your restless spirit and regenerates you lies a simple request away... a rendezvous with the local reef life, a jungle jaunt on horseback or a rooftop siesta by the fountain...your choice, your pace.
The Guest House is a family-run business situated in a 174 year old property. Built in 1832, the property is located on the rugged east coast of Barbados, and commands breathtaking views of the Atlantic.
Owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Mr. & Mrs. Robert Manley, the Guest House offers memorable dining, comfortable accommodation and some of the best live entertainment on the island. The atmosphere is homey and informal but the service is second to none.
The Guest House offers six rooms for guests who're looking for a decidedly significant change of pace from life in today's bustling world.
The rooms are simply but tastefully furnished, and are without the trappings of electronic devices which keep us enslaved in the name of "communications".
While you don't need to do anything more than simply eat and sleep when you stay at the Guest House, there's plenty to do for the "adventurer" lurking within...
...from snorkelling and diving to horseback riding and hiking in the hills of St. Joseph to deep sea fishing and lots more in between.
Whether you're just looking to find a secluded picnic spot or are up for a day of fun and frolic, you're in for a more than memorable day of discovery.
And of course don't forget the real reason to visit - the Guest House is just a two-minute walk away from a World-Class Surfing Break -
the "Bathsheba Soup Bowl".
