The Palmeraie Golf Course - Marrakech

Description of the golf course: Attached to the Palmeraie Golf Palace, the Palmeraie Golf 18 hole course is well designed in a lush oasis by Robert Trent Jones. It has views of the majestic Atlas mountains and a horizon dotted with white medinas. The American-style course runs through a valley and there are thousands of palm trees and 7 lakes as well as numerous white sand hazards to contend with. There is a striking contrast between the desert on one side and its seven lakes & thousands of palm trees on the other.

You will find 'dogleg holes' that are a trademark of Robert Trent Jones, with a multitude of palm trees, lakes and very well placed bunkers. Your first impression might be miss-leading, it doesn't look too inspiring but once you play the course, you quickly realise that it is a 'good golf course' and will test you fully time and time again.

The ochre walls of the Moorish-style clubhouse forms a striking centerpiece to the course design.
