Support Al Gore Campaign

Here at Pure Vacations it is easy to just jump on the band wagon and follow everyone else and to be honest we never do this but occassionally something comes along that is tremendous. If you have never seen the DVD "An Inconvenient Truth" then you will not have a clue what I am on about, but if you have then you will be in full support of saving our planet.

Al Gore's movie about climate change became the most successful per-screen documentary film opening in history and and the book reached number1 on the New York Times best seller last summer. On Feb. 25, 2007, An Inconvenient Truth won an Oscar and now is a top selling DVD worldwide.

Recently the British government under Prime Minster Tony Blairs direction agreed that all Schools in England to See "Truth" The British government will distribute Al Gore's dramatic global warming film to all secondary schools in England in its fight to tackle the climate crisis. This was an amazing step forward and foresight from the countrys Prime Minister.

Pure Vacations openly supports Al Gore to stand for the President nomination for the demorcrates in the United States and to once again run for President in 2008. Just imagine the most powerful leader in the world actually supporting change in climate and pushing forward proposals for a better future. So why does Pure Vacations support this campaign, its simple, we want a clean, wonderful world and at the end of the day every holiday experience we provide is an outdoor experience whether it is ranching in Texas or surfing Bali, the world is a fragile place and the least we can do is support 100 percent the planets survival and Al Gore is certainly the man to do this.

In 1995 Wesley Baker the company CEO of Pure Vacations wrote a piece on the internet about the climate change and the current flow in the north atlantic turning Britain and Europe in to an Ice Age, that article and feature was slammed by surfing publications and other websites at the time but the article was based on science and oceanography and today this is 100 percent accepted, so we want to take the lead and say support AL GORE he needs everyone both in the USA and World to become president and help change the world, lets enjoy the future lets have some fun doing it. Otherwise what will the next 10 years bring? The film tell us.

The next election for a USA President shoudl not be based on War, not on if you are a Women and not if you are Black or White, it should be based on the future of the planet. Personally Gore/Clinton would be a great mix again in the whitehouse but this time the other way round.
